Brad's grits for breakfast

Ingredients of Brad's grits for breakfast:
- 2 tbs butter
- 1/2 small onion, fine chopped
- 1 small jalapeÃ±o, seeded and minced
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp granulated chicken bouillon
- 1/2 cup dry grits
- 1/4 cup shredded white cheddar
- 2 eggs
- Sea salt
- Black pepper
- Tobasco sauce
- Salsa verde
Method for "Brad's grits for breakfast":
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Saute onion, pepper, and garlic on med low heat until onion is translucent.
- Add water and bouillon to onion. Bring to a boil.
- Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan to fry egg. Fry egg to taste, I did Sunnyside up. Sprinkle with sea salt and pepper.
- When water boils, add dry grits. Stir well. Reduce heat to a simmer. Stir very often until grits become creamy and soft. Add cheese and remove from heat. Continue stirring until cheese is incorporated.
- Plate grits. Put eggs on top. Sprinkle tobasco sauce around the outside. And salsa verde over eggs. Serve immediately. Enjoy.
